Why Blogging About Your Job Search Can Help Others (Pt. 1) Building Your Future Now The whole job search process can sometimes be a grind. In some instances you must treat it as a full time job organizating your contacts, going for interviews, networking and just simply pounding the pavement looking for a job. Its certainly a tough job onto itself but one that can ultimately be rewarding: as you get a job/career out of it. However, documenting your job search experience can be something to consider. For one thing others might benefit from your personal experience and learn from what you have done. How satisfying is it to know that you are helping job seekers with such a tough thing to go through? Writing a Blog Blogging is perhaps the best platform to start your job search experience. You can blog daily or every few days and document how interviews went or how you are approaching your day. If you can add pictures that is great! You dont have to be too detailed however just be informative enough to provide strong insight in to what you are doing and accomplishing. Should you stop when you find a job? Its up to you. At this point you can transition from a job search blog to a career development blog! That might actually be a great way to continue your momentum when it comes to your overall development as a professional!
